Calculate Full-Time Equivalent Employees in Real Time with Real Data
Autopaychecks iSolved HCM’s ACA reporting function gives you the ability to automatically calculate full-time equivalent employees using real data, updated in real-time. This means you can monitor fluctuations and ensure that your benefits package is ACA compliant.Under ACA, extra attention must now be paid to the calculation of full-time equivalent (FTE) employees as it affects the health coverage employers are required to offer. In general, it is considered best-practice to base these calculations on actual labor data rather than estimates that use the number of full and part-time employees on staff.
If your current Human Capital Management Solution doesn’t have an FTE calculation tool, we have some excellent resources in our ACA Center that will assist you in the manual calculation.
