In a 7-2 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld, again, the Affordable Care Act. Texas and other states had sued to overturn it.

The federal minimum wage is currently at $7.25 per hour, as established by the Fair Labor Standards Act. This rate has not been raised since 2009. Employers in every state are required to pay all employees this minimum rate.
